Name of the society on Property Card (P. R. Card) reflects the ownership rights of Society on the plot. It shows society's plot area in words and figures. After obtaining conveyance in the name of society, submit conveyance deed documents to city survey officer of your ward and get it rectified.
Certified approved plan of existing building shows existing carpet area occupied by the existing members of the society. This plan is of utmost important when you are looking forward for redevelopment. It can be obtained by applying to MCGM.
Physical Survey of plots and flats is necessary to avoid disputes in future in terms of carpet area and plot size. It is advisable to get the plot as well as individual flats of the society surveyed / measured through a licensed surveyor.
